To Anny Stripling  Dear Sister  it is permited to pen you a fiew lines
to let you know that I am yet still alive and am injoying tolerable
health at this time  my family is in tolerable health  I hop these fiw
lines will find you well & family  I canot recolect of ever seeing you
but that dos not hender me from thinking about you and wishin you well
and that God would bless you and family  I heard that you praied
for me and family  my hart and s_  and is for you you  I would would
love to see you but I do not know that we ever will see each other here
but I hope we will meet a bove.

Lavina and Family was wellthe last I heard from them  You heard of her
husband a ding ayer ago and here youngest son died the first of last
month  And one of her son in-laws moved in the hous with here
Malisa and family was well the last I heared from them  Esecept her
husband  he has bin mighty low with the Pneumony fever  the doctor seys
he has got the Consumption  I Eat dinner with Catyes man today  he is
yet a widerwer yet   I saw Uncle winkfield hills girls last fall
Catherine mared Levi Carr
(or Cain)  Betty and Sintha and Hellen   and I saw Hellen somtime back
and she sed they were all well
Katherine is myghty fleshy and as full of fun as ever  I and her susut
to be to gether  I have had eight boys  two died  sixe are living   One
is mared  my oldest  the balance of them are withe me yet  there is
Alphord  I like to forgot him  he is living in Spencer  his two boys is
marred  G B Johnson Levins_
oldest boy has his oldest girle and I have his seciond girl   he has not
bin to see her in two years   I haven't seen him in twelve months  his
youngest is living with him.

6 Elijah 7th Elic 8 Mansfield   Elijah say he dont know why you don't
moveback hear  they all say that they would like for you to send me your
likeness and then I will send you mine   Rowan says he recoled of seeing
